Conductivity & TDS
Electrolytic conductivity (EC) is a measure of the total concentration of ions in solution. TDS (total dissolved solids) is a measure of the solid content of a solution. It is important to measure both EC and TDS, particularly in water applications to determine the level of purity of the water, and in soils to determine the amount of essential salts present for the nutrition of the plants.
Hanna offer a wide selection of portable and bench meters suitable for measuring conductivity and TDS.
